Family and more Summer Fun

Trying to catch up because I am way behind on my blogging. After 5 months of being sick and almost seven months of being more than exhausted I finally got things worked out and have a little bit of energy. I know that many of you can relate to the joys of being pregnant. The best part of being pregnant is when its all over and you have a beautiful new blessing. Here are some pictures of our little blessing Eli and some of the rest of the family too!

Eli loves the new little kitty that the Godlewski's got. He is so cute and so careful with the kitty.

Eli decided that he needed a little hipster in his life and put his beanie on in the middle of summer. But he had to do it Eli style so he put it on sideways. Here he is doing two of his favorite things: playing in his sandbox and watering the garden.

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. Not only can he quote that nursery rhyme but he loves to pick peppers and anything else that we get out of our small garden.

It's been a hard days night, here is Eli multitasking. Talking to Grandpa and playing in the sandbox.

Fourth of July neighborhood parade! Got decorated up in our red white and blue. It was a hard day of fun and fireworks, patriotic dreams little Eli!

We went out to watch grandpa paraglide. Eli was fascinated and loved watching, he wanted to join Grandpa but of course has to wait a while for that to happen.

Eli and Daddy's first father and sons campout! Both Daddy and Eli had a great time and Mommy got a good nights sleep!

The first picture is nighttime and trying to get Eli to sleep. He was on such a high that Jared had a hard time getting him to settle down and sleep. The next picture is Eli waking up, so Jared was successful in getting him to sleep. He loves being in the tent!

Good Morning Sunshine!

The sticks were a big hit with all the kids at Father Sons. We still have the stick that Eli picked up!

Welcome family! All the sisters and kids arrived and of course had to catch up so the younger kids under Abby's watch watched Eli's favorite movie, Cars!

Hike around Silver Lake!
Beautiful scenery! We had to have Abby hold Eli because he just wanted to play in the water!

Giving Grandma a heart attack! My little boy has very little fear. Here is a great view of Eli in his Finding Nemo outfit!

Eli and his posse :)

A Berm! Eli has watched his Daddy he knows what to do!

Cute picture - it was quite difficult to orchestrate but turned out great!

This is what happens when Aunt 'Chelle gets a hold of you and has styling gel in her hands.

Here we go on another hike. This one is to doughnut falls.

Here is the group making our way up to the falls.

Eli found his own little waterfall that he got to play in.

Found it! The prefect reading spot!

Hiking with Grandpa. Jared was still on one crutch but eager to get out and move so we went on a small hike got lost and never did quite make it to our destination but still had lots of fun. Thanks for coming and helping out Grandpa!

Eli passed this car in the church parking lot and said, "Old car drive it!" Later that day Jared had to call the owner of the car for something else but told him the story. Brother Merrill thought it was great and so brought the car over so that Eli could have a ride! So much fun.

More Fourth of July parade pictures, not sure why they are out of order.

Super cute, thanks for the outfit Aunt Kay!

Splash park with Daddy! Eli loves to get wet then snuggle in the towel its so fun.

Cold, cold water but on a hot day it feels so good!

Playing frizbee before the fireworks. Watching the fireworks is so much more fun when they are not so loud. Eli doesn't like the loud bangs but was fine when we put some ear muffs on.

Found a small beach spot in Herriman and had a Cancun beach day! Pina coladas and all. Thanks Jared!

Eli must have liked his Chelle hairdo because he found Mom's palmade and wiped it all over in his hair so we went spiky once again.

I was worried about Eli transferring to his big boy bed and falling out. Well I don't think I have to worry about that!

Swimming with the Cousins! Super cute!

The big Girls teaching the toddlers how its done!

Oh the work that went into this picture. Playing around while the sisters go through a temple session.

Riding Trax

Eli's first train ride! He was really excited, he loves trains!
