More Summer Fun

This summer has been kind of a bummer for Jared and I because of his knee and my being pregnant. We have been trying to make it fun for Eli though. Eli has been going and doing as much as Mom and Dad can pack into his schedule without totally wearing us out!

Tired little boy, had a rough night and fell asleep snuggling with Daddy on the floor.

Happy little boy.

Eli and tractors! My little boy is in heaven.

More Tractors! Wheeler farm is one of our favorite places.

Eli loves his books. Reading is one of his favorite things to do. He has several of his books memorized!

An evening up in the mountains! Tin Foil dinners, camp fires, and fun!

"I'm king of the rock and there ain't nothin' you girls can do about it" -Mulan   Eli thought the rock covered in moss was so cool.

The new splash pad near our house was a big hit with Eli. He loves the water and this was so much fun for him. It was made even more fun because we got to go with friends. Here he is going though the water tunnel with Mike'ele.

Drove up the canyon to bet a birds eye view of Kennecott Copper mine. That is a big hole. The massive trucks that they use looked small from where we were. We are definitely going to have to take Eli to see the big trucks up close and personal, he would love it.

My fancy pie I made for my Dad's birthday. Happy "flag day" Birthday!

Summer Begins!

Summer fun has come and we are all about getting outside and having fun, or as Eli says, "Outside Eli, Outside Eli!"

Eli's new pajamas! He's super excited. Thanks Aunt Kay!

Check out out little garden, Jared is very vigilant about watering and taking care of it.

Blah! Knee surgery and a subsequent 6 weeks on crutches. Luckily everything went well and hopefully a full recovery is in the near future.

Look at my tired little boy! He fell asleep and slowly squirmed his way off the couch. Shortly after this picture he finally woke up.

We went on a short hike up to a small waterfall (pre-surgery), it is called Rocky Mouth. Eli of course loved playing in the water. What a fun little adventure.

Eli at his first swimming lessons! He is a little fish, he loves the water. We took a mommy and me swimming class and it was so much fun. Hoping we can do it again soon.

One morning Eli keep saying. "Boot, Boot." It took me a minute to figure out what he was saying when I finally figured it out I started to laugh and we put his boots on. He walked around as happy as could be in his boots.

We love the zoo, and since we got a zoo pass we get to go as often as we want. Here was a trip with our friends Alison and Benson and my sister Kay. We love the carousel and train.

Our Friends Happy, Chris, and Liam stopped by on their way home to California. It was so fun to see them and the boys had fun playing in the sandbox!

Lovin' the beaters!

Pancakes are Eli's favorite!

See :)

One of Eli's favorite things to do is go water the garden with daddy! What a big helper he is! He just loves to playing in water and will do anything to do so.

Here are some of Jared's pictures of the solar eclipse, we had fun watching it even though it got covered part of the time by clouds.

One of the cool effect of the eclipse was that all the light came through as little crescents so you could see the eclipse on all the lighted surfaces.

Yes Aunt Brandie I just had to put in the picture with you and a box on your head! And of course Eli had to put a bucket on his head too!

Easter and Spring 2012

It has been quite amazing to watch our little Eli grow over the last few months, it seems like he's learning in leaps and bounds. We are also excited to announce the coming of a new member of our family, little baby boy is due sometime in the beginning of November. Here are some pictures of our Spring and Easter adventures.

Eli loves his sandbox! It is by far the best toy that we could have given him. He is constantly saying "sandbox" I'll say "Oh you want to play in the sandbox?" He'll say "OKAY!" Eli was having a off morning, he put my sock on sat down and pouted.

Easter is so much fun with cousin Josie, here they are getting ready for the big Easter egg hunt!

After we sent Josie to another part of the yard Eli was finally able to gather up a few eggs. What a big boy finding all those eggs!

Singing with Grandma and Josie!

Eli loves motorcycles! Thanks for letting me sit on the motorcycle Grandpa!

"Look at my new shoes Mommy!"

Playing in the sandbox with my friends. Yes that's me in the background wearing a coat.

Spring flowers and baseball caps, what handsome boys I have.

Well the tulips and Eli look great.

Here we go to the zoo with one of our favorite friends, Mckynlee! Here we are at the entrance and then at the front of the gorilla exhibit. When we were looking at the giant silver back gorilla I had Eli right up against the glass and the gorilla walked right up to him. Their noses could have touched if the glass wasn't there, it was pretty amazing.

Mckynlee and Eli have so much fun together, their favorite thing was pushing their strollers around the zoo!

Mommy, Eli, and the giraffes.

Eli loved the turtles, he would follow it as the turtle walked up and down the glass.

Eli and McKinley loved to hang on the bar in front of them, they also loved their special little seat that only they could get to.

Checking out the animals!

These two got some great close ups at the zoo, here is a monkey coming up close and personal.

Loves the polar bear! Super fun carousel ride!

And of course our favorite train ride!

Here is baby boy's first picture, we're looking forward to seeing him in November!
