This summer we had so much fun despite the fact that I was so incredibly sick. It was our summer of hiking fun! The boys and I went hiking almost every Monday and really enjoyed being in the mountain and soaking up the beauty around us. So here are some pictures of hikes and other summer fun activities.
Here is my cute little Aaron at it again! Butter for breakfast, why not?! Check out my face fell on the cement and got all dinged up.
Fourth of July fun with the Peterson cousins. Parade at Murray park with a yummy breakfast compliments of Stacie and others, then a Parade! We got lots of taffy to take home.

| Trying to take some fun photos of my boys but I can't get them to smile or look at me at the same time. I eventually gave up, this was one of the better pictures. |
More fourth of July fun at our house. We played outside with my family and did sparklers. This was the first time Eli was able to do them all by himself, last year he was still too scared.
| Shoes on the wrong feet, oh and they are Eli's shoes and a bowl on my head. I'm ready for the day! |
| Hiking up to Lake Solitude with Grandpa (who is taking the picture) and Aunt Kay! The boys did great, it was a pretty tough hike. We saw a moose, chipmunks, and found a mine! |
| All they need are some pitch forks, Aaron and his friend Camille enjoying sippy cups together. |
| TOMATOES! |
| We went camping with just the girls in my family and the boys, here are some photos of our outing! |
| Ready for tin foil dinners and S'mores! |
| S'MORES! |
| Hiking with the family in Arizona! |
| The boys just goofing off and playing around, the fewer the cloths on Aaron the better. He's either missing a shirt or his shorts. |
| Eli learning to ride a bike! Never seen anyone learn so fast, up and down the street twice and he was ready to go! |
Singing in the rain! Okay no singing going on but we sure had fun playing and getting wet! Puddle jumping is so much fun!
Aaron preparing for his photo shoot (those will come a little later) We weren't sure we were going to be able to take pictures because it was raining but it cleared up just enough for us to get some cute pictures.
| Eli's fourth birthday party, it was a tool/bike/car party. He couldn't make up his mind so we threw in a little bit of everything. |
First day of Preschool (year 2 for Eli) Aaron isn't technically in preschool but will be there anyway.
| Eli's Preschool Class! |
| Camping in the Uintas! This picture was taken after a long and horrible night. Aaron didn't hardly sleep and struggled all night long and pregnant Mommy was exhausted by the time morning came. But we survived! |
Fishing and playing around at Mirror Lake. Luckily after a brutal night we relaxed a little and did some fishing. Didn't catch anything but we tried.
| Going on another hike, this is at the beginning of Cascade Springs hike! |
Such a beautiful hike and the colors were gorgeous! In the last picture you'll notice that Aaron doesn't have pants on because he fell into the river! He was fine but got quite the cold shocker!
More Hiking! Here we go to Donut Falls. We ran into some moose on the way back and Jared asked Aaron what they were and Aaron said "Triceratops!"
| Gardner Village for some more witch watching! |
| Eli doesn't nap very often anymore but when he does fall asleep its always in an interesting place! |
